Dr. Christina Whitsett grew up in Shelby County. She attended the University of Louisville earning a Bachelor’s degree in Biology and continued on to the University of Louisville School of Dentistry graduating in 2007. Dr. Whitsett completed Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency at University Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio for one year after completing dental school. She then began practicing in Shelbyville (Main Street Dental) from 2008 until November of 2016 when she relocated her practice to the current location shared with Dr. Jamie Coleman. She is certified in Invisalign (clear alternative to braces), and is trained and certified to provide Botox and dermal filler treatments.
Dr. Whitsett is a member of the Louisville Dental Society, Kentucky Dental Association, American Dental Association and the Academy of General Dentistry. She lives in Shelbyville with her husband Ryan and their three children and loves spending time with family. Dr. Whitsett enjoys the diversity of general dentistry and plans to practice in Shelbyville for many years to come.
